The Public Ministry of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) in Chiapas, opened an investigation file against a person, for his probable responsibility, in the commission of a crime against health, foreseen and sanctioned by the Federal Criminal Code, after securing more than eight kilos of methamphetamine.
According to the Approved Police Report (IPH), agents of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), while conducting an investigation, in the Villa Comaltitlán-Tapachula stretch of road, in the municipality of Huixtla, to carry out inspections of private and public vehicles.
During the operation, they stopped a passenger bus, coming from the state of Oaxaca, bound for Huixtla, and while conducting the routine inspection, inside the luggage compartment, they found a black backpack with nine packages wrapped in plastic, each of them with a fragmented solid substance, with the characteristics of methamphetamine (crystal), a total of 8.5 kilos.
In addition, they found 27 replacement cartridges for electronic cigarettes, for which they secured Rafael “G”, who was a passenger on said bus.
Due to this fact, the accused and the drug were at made available to the Federal Public Ministry (MPF), who carries out the corresponding legal procedures to proceed according to law, for the crime of transportation of an illegal substance with the intention of distribution.
