The International Coffee Fest Expo 2023 was presented to the media, this will take place with commercialization tables, a breakfast, workshops, and exhibitions, from February 17 to 19 in the city of Palenque, as announced by the organizers.
In a press conference held in the city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, the expo will hold workshops, contests, desserts, gastronomy, with the participation of students from the Polytechnic University, Unicach and Unach.
In addition, they announced that currently 42 percent of the national coffee production occurs in Chiapas with organic certification and a large export in the United States, as well as in European countries.
“In this activity we have invited productive sectors from other places in the south of the country, Tabasco, San Cristóbal de Las Casas, which together with Palenque have a good tourist presence, admission will be totally free,” they reported.
They indicated that during the 3 days of the expo they will be carrying out workshops, exhibitions, culture, agriculture, and livestock events, and in the Center of Palenque cultural activities, in addition, a gastronomic sample, tastings among other activities.
