The deadline to register is this Saturday, so those interested should hurry to secure their place in this sporting event. The organization expects a great response from the university community and the general public, as it promotes integration and physical activity in an educational environment.
As for the awards, they will offer incentives for the winners of each category. For the 3 kilometer distance, the first place will receive 3 thousand pesos, while the second and third place will be rewarded with 2 thousand and 1 thousand pesos respectively. In the 5 kilometer category, the first place will receive 4 thousand pesos; the second, 3 thousand, and the third, 2 thousand. Finally, the 10 kilometer runners will compete for a prize of 5 thousand pesos for the winner, 4 thousand for the second place and 3 thousand for the third.
The route will begin and end at the university facilities, and will also allow participants to enjoy a family and safe environment throughout the competition. At the end of the route, a get-together will be organized for all attendees, creating a space for celebration and interaction between runners, family and friends.
This competition, which is part of the celebration of the half-century of the Unach, seeks not only to highlight the importance of physical activity in daily life, but also to strengthen community ties between students, teachers and the general population. Therefore, it promises to be a memorable day, full of energy and enthusiasm.
All those interested are invited to participate in this significant race, in which sport, history and the community come together to make this event a success. The Autonomous University of Chiapas hopes to have the assistance of a large number of runners who, in addition to competing, wish to be part of this festivity in honor of the 50 years of their “alma mater.”
