The four gunshots fired in the street by two killers suggest revenge But there is no evidence

” We have no news from the Mexican authorities, we have not heard anything since the murder happened, there is no news”, but at least since yesterday Michele Colosio, the Borgosatollo aid worker killed at 42 last night July 11 in San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, in mysterious circumstances.

There remains the weight of a crime that has not yet been explained, indeed, on which it seems that the Mexican authorities are unable to take steps forward. After the crime, the mother appealed to the Italian government for justice. Now the volunteer’s family members have relied on a lawyer, the lawyer Alessandra Ballerini, to stay in touch with the Embassy.

Former radiologist technician of the Civil, Miguel lived for a short time in Latin America, being a craftsman, a bicycle mechanic, a pizza maker, a farmer, a breeder. He dreamed of an education for street children and had bought a farm to create a village dedicated to ecotourism. On the evening of 11 July at 10 pm after celebrating Italy’s victory at the European Championships he had left home to look for a shop where to buy food when hitmen on motorcycles fired four shots at him. A degenerate robbery attempt? Or a revenge?

Local friends claim that he had received various threats for a dispute related to the purchase of the land but the investigations so far have come to nothing.
