Organizations carry out the “Water and Life Festival” in San Cristóbal


San Cristóbal De Las Casas.- Within the framework of World Water Day, different organizations in defense of water and government at the three levels carry out forums, workshops, photo exhibitions, hand out brochures, where they specify how to take care of water in the Valley of Joel and that will take place during this day Tuesday and Wednesday, the day the water is celebrated.

It will take place in the atrium of the Hermanos Domínguez City Theater “Festival of Water and Life; for the Vital Care of the Environment”, in San Cristóbal de las Casas, in this event they are inviting the entire population that come to visit it or participate in any workshop that is installed to take one more experience of how to take care of the vital liquid.

In this regard, Julio César Aguilar, representative of the Cántaro Azul Civil Association, said in an interview that water must continue to be cared for since it is a vital liquid for human beings and that the Cántaro Azul organization is participating as a non-profit organization.

“We are here participating to motivate people to take care of water, this event is to commemorate the International Water Day that is celebrated this Wednesday the 22nd and not only do we have to take care of it, but we also have to see the quality of the water that people consume, because that is the most important thing and we have no other choice, we have to take care of the vital liquid that San Cristóbal de las Casas has,” he said.

While the rest of the organizations also presented photographs, workshops and free haircuts, music, in order to draw attention to the population and qualify the work they are doing this Tuesday and Wednesday.
