Missing woman found dead in San Cristóbal de las Casas

The woman’s body had bullet wounds, as reported by the Chiapas State Attorney General’s Office.

San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chis. – The lifeless body of a 32-year-old woman identified as Verónica Bianey N, was found on the San Cristóbal-Tuxtla Gutiérrez toll road, reported the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).

In a statement released this Saturday morning, she explained that her body had gunshot wounds to her anatomy, she was located at kilometer 35 + 100 on Friday afternoon.

FGE initiated the corresponding investigation folder and initiated the inquiries against the person or persons responsible for the crime of femicide.

It indicated that the investigations are carried out “in accordance with the provisions of the Protocol of Action with a Gender Perspective for the Investigation of the Crime of Femicide in the State of Chiapas, in order to find out the exact cause of the death of the victim and establish responsibilities against whom or whom they are guilty.

It turned out that the victim, who lived in the La Garita neighborhood, located in the east of San Cristóbal, worked in a hostel and had disappeared on Thursday.
