After the hailstorm that occurred in San Cristóbal this Saturday, citizens took the opportunity to take out some pictures to remember

San Cristóbal de Las Casas.- For the fourth consecutive day it has rained in the afternoons in San Cristóbal de las Casas, but so far the rivers maintain their level this afternoon at 50 percent, while in several streets and highways in the region have been bathed in white by the hail that fell this afternoon in the Jovel Valley.

Lots of large hailstones fall on several streets, squares and highways that connect various municipalities and communities in the Altos region and it continues to rain until this afternoon, and the heavy hailstorm is observed in different municipalities of the Altos region, the different bodies Aid workers have gone out to make their rounds to invite the population to be ready with lamps, because the rains could continue during the night.

Until now, it has caused an accident where a vehicle entered a home, while the owner asks the Civil Protection authorities for help because they were left homeless, as well as civil protection calls for careful driving in the streets and on highways.
