In San Cristóbal de Las Casas Professional Wrestlers start a “Fighting Bullying campaign” in an elementary school in the San Ramón neighborhood, they point out that it is the first time they have started this work in educational institutions.

In this regard, the professional wrestler Ah kin Dios del Sol Maya, at a press conference together with other wrestlers and organizers of the event, said that as a father he is concerned about the experiences of his daughters in their school training a little over 10 years ago. It begins with the concern of promoting values in childhood through wrestling. And he begins to hold talks in schools with messages to primary school students with a language resonant with childhood and wearing his character’s clothing with the mystic and color that wrestling represents to have the captive attention of the students.

“Today, forming this alliance of two wrestling promoters Tuxtla Wrestling Team and Luchas Party Chiapas, we give ourselves the task of reactivating these talks in the educational centers of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, and in San Cristóbal it is the first time that we have presented ourselves in a primary school, having as its axis the following values: We talk with children, it turns to practical actions with the treatment towards the people with whom we interact on a day-to-day basis, greet classmates, adults, parents, teachers with whom good morning, good afternoon or good night as the case may be, request things, for example; please, and thank the people who support us on a day-to-day basis, doing homework, helping mom or dad at home, keeping their work area and bedroom clean, and helping pick up the trash and collaborating in housework,” he said.

He added that practical examples are given for good coexistence at school, if a student finds something that is not his, “it must belong to someone” therefore it must be delivered to the school administration or to the teachers; “From a pencil, eraser or pencil sharpener to a lunch box or some object of higher value, the effort that parents make to buy material things for school use must be recognized, things must be taken care of and that of others”.

“Bullying is the central topic of conversation in schools, eradicating physical and emotional abuse from institutions, not attacking, not harassing or bothering schoolmates, not giving nicknames or, not discriminating against anyone, keeping a healthy coexistence where respect for colleagues prevails. If they are victims or know of someone who is going through this issue, it is best not to remain silent and inform the professors or directors of the institution,” Ha Kin said.

Finally, the professional wrestlers said that the elementary school already visited is Adolfo Ramos, located in the San Ramón neighborhood of this colonial city, and for Sunday, July 2 at 6 p.m. they announced a professional wrestling, in the Arena Municipal Boxing and Wrestling in San Cristóbal.
