They kill three kidnapped migrants in Tapachula, Chiapas

Three migrants were shot dead when they were kidnapped in Tapachula, Chiapas, police sources reported.

The alleged kidnapper also lost his life, while three more migrants were injured by gunfire, according to police reports.

According to an informative card that was accessed, the authorities received reports of shots in the Ejido Manga de Clavo, in the north west of the city.

Agents of the Investigation Police of the State Attorney General’s Office went to the place and upon arrival they were attacked by bullets, so they asked for support from the Mexican Army, the National Guard and the Secretary of Security and Citizen Participation.

The security forces entered the house and found four corpses, two of them women. At the crime scene they also located a pistol apparently 9 mm.

According to photographs that were accessed, three bodies were on some mats and one more lying on the floor.

In another room of the property there were three wounded men who said they were of Ecuadorian origin and who identified themselves as José Santiago Medina Hualán, 49 years old, Nelson Hernán Medina Hualán, 43 years old and Ángel Andrés Gaspar Delgado, 39 years old, who were transferred for medical attention.

“We heard about six shots, when we went out to see the police and the army were already there. The situation is getting dangerous,” said a neighbor of the place.

Forensic agents transferred the four bodies to the Forensic Medical Service, while the FGE initiated the investigation for the multiple homicide.
