Tuxtla, Gutiérrez, Chiapas.- The self-proclaimed Chiapas Guatemala Cartel, which is a criminal cell of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), threatened in a video the governor of Chiapas, Rutilio Escandón Cadenas and the general commissioner of the Secretariat of Security and Protection Citizen (SSyPC), Gabriela Zepeda Soto, with committing “an indiscriminate” and massive attack against “corrupt” police officers.
In the video that began to circulate on Saturday, April 13th, but went viral on Sunday, April 14, about 18 men are seen carrying heavy-caliber weapons, escorting the person who is reading a paper to make threats to the government of Chiapas. that emanates from the Morena party.
This criminal group threatens to carry out a massive attack against the Chiapas Security Secretariat because it accuses them of protecting the Sinaloa Cartel, with whom it disputes the territory for the transfer of drugs, weapons, and human trafficking.
“We will continue to clean up the Chiapas police in our own way, and the next attack will be indiscriminate, we will blow up an entire police operational base and kill you and everyone there,” the cartel threatened.
This armed group which belongs to the CJNG, in the video also claimed responsibility for the murder of 2 state police officers that occurred on April 8 in the municipality of Ocozocoautla, 30 kilometers from the capital of the state of Chiapas.
