Handicraft merchants in this tourist city are preparing for the Day of the Dead long weekend next week, when they hope sales of their products will increase.
During a tour of the main artisan plazas, they stated that although the celebration of the Day of the Dead is only a few days away, at least the current situation will improve during this low tourist season.
At the Sweets and Handicrafts market, they pointed out that the peak holiday periods are December and New Year’s Eve, when hundreds of domestic and international tourists arrive.
