Last Sunday, more than a dozen tourists fell from a suspension bridge located in the Cuevas del Mamut recreational park in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas.

It was revealed that people did not respect the instructions not to get on the property that the members of the cooperative placed in the different spaces, since it was not in good condition, because a year ago suffered a landslide.

According to the service providers, for a few months the bridge had warning signs and was out of service, however, a group of local walkers tried to cross and fell.

So far, no human losses have been reported, only minor wounds; while the Civil Protection authorities could not enter the place for the attention of the walkers, because by uses and customs it is not allowed.
