Likewise, agreements and strategic alliances were made to strengthen ties that increase the tourist influx in the state, with tour operators, airlines, among others, as well as interviews with various media. With this, Chiapas continues to be promoted more and more as a unique destination in the country.
It is also important to mention that in this 47th edition the Lacandones received a special badge for safeguarding and conserving the natural wealth of the jungle. This award was delivered by the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Márquez.
