The choice of Calle Real de Guadalupe as the most beautiful in San Cristóbal not only highlights its scenic and cultural beauty
In an interview, Miguel Ángel Muñoz Luna, deputy chronicler of San Cristóbal de las Casas, highlighted that Calle Real de Guadalupe, located in the east of the city, is undoubtedly the most beautiful in Mexico. This street is home to the Guadalupano walkway, known for its authenticity despite the presence of numerous restaurants and businesses. Both locals and tourists enjoy this picturesque place.
ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence chatbot application developed in 2022 specialized in dialogue, received thousands of questions several months ago, including what was the most beautiful street in Mexico. The answer it offered was Calle Real de Guadalupe in San Cristóbal de las Casas, backed by the testimony of the chronicler, who stated that ChatGPT was completely right.
“I find it very interesting,” commented Muñoz Luna on the question directed to ChatGPT. “Many believed that it was Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City, but ChatGPT pointed out that Calle Real de Guadalupe is the prettiest, especially because of the Guadalupano walkway. This choice is based on the abundance of photographs available on the internet, which makes this street a remarkable place.”
The reporter also highlighted that from Calle Real de Guadalupe you can admire the Guadalupe Church to the east and enjoy a magnificent view of the Huitepec Hill to the west. “The sunset offers an impressive contrast,” he added, emphasizing the beauty and appeal of this street for walking from the center to the east, or vice versa, while contemplating the sunset from the Guadalupe temple.
