The EZLN is preparing the next “War Against Humanity” Seedbed, to be held in Chiapas starting July 20.

The Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) released the program for its “Seedbed of War Against Humanity” (The Populations and Nature Under Siege) event, which will take place in San Cristóbal de Las Casas from July 20 to 25.

They announced that on Monday, July 20, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Gilberto López y Rivas will speak on “Global State Terrorism, Militarization, and Recolonization of Territories,” and Alicia Castellanos will discuss “Racism and Violence Against Peoples.”

They added that from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wilfrido A. Gómez-Arias will speak on “Our Water, Its Concessions: The Legal Architecture of Water Dispossession and Hoarding in Mexico,” and Carlos Tornel will address “Capitalism, Total War, and the Rebellion of the Living.”

In a statement signed by Subcomandante Moisés, he said that on Tuesday, July 21, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Alejandra Guillén is scheduled to speak on “Disappearance and Conscription for Capital Accumulation: Cracks in Resistance Against the New Domination,” while Ilán Semo will address the topic of “The Fall of the Old Order and the New Forms of War.”

He added that from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Mauricio González González will speak on “War by Other Means: Fracking in Unsubmissive Territories,” while Pablo Montaño will discuss “The Word of Hope in the Face of the War Against Nature.”

He commented that from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, Carlos Alberto Ríos Gordillo will speak on “Tracking the Big-Headed Hydra: Clues for a Rebel Counter-History,” and Mateo Crossa Niell will speak on “The New Faces of Exploitation in Capital’s War Against the Working Class.”

From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. that same day, Moisés stated, Micaela Gramajo will participate with Proyecto Olivo, and Iván Prado with Palestina, palabra semilla (Palestine, Seed Word).

He affirmed that on Thursday, July 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Bruno Miranda is scheduled to speak on the topic of Critical Perspectives on Migration and Borders, as well as David Barrios with The End of Wars and the Struggles for Life.

He expressed that from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Andrea Horcasitas Martínez will participate with the topic Facing Horror, the Search and the Promise of Reunion, and Raúl Romero will speak about Criminal Corporations and the Struggles for Life.

Moisés noted that on Friday the 24th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Vicente Moctezuma Mendoza will speak on the topic of Extraction, Dispossession, Exclusion, and Resistance in the City, and Iracema Gavilán will discuss Gender Mandates and Extractivism: Actions from an Ecofeminist Perspective.

He said that from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Titze Malambé will speak on Radiography of the Body in Resistance, and Vica Rule will present on Transvestite Power Against Capitalist Realism: Propaganda for a Pro-Life Activism.

On Saturday the 25th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Brenda Nava Galindo will present on the topic of Inhabiting Escape, Creating Other Worlds: Maroonage as Memory, Territory, and Anti-Racist Resistance Against Colonialism, and Argelia Guerrero will present Dance for Women… Who Fight. The closing ceremony will follow.
